Privacy Policy
WHAT PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT AND WHY WE COLLECT IT
1. COMMENTS
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
2. MEDIA
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
3. CONTACT FORMS
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
4. EMBEDDED CONTENT FROM OTHER WEBSITES
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
5. HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR DATA
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
6. WHAT RIGHTS YOU HAVE OVER YOUR DATA
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
7. WHERE WE SEND YOUR DATA
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
A&H Worker SMS/MMS Privacy
Updated October 12, 2026. This section applies specifically to the worker messaging program.
We use worker information to coordinate jobs, record container reports, and manage participation in work messages.
Scope
This section applies specifically to the A&H worker SMS/MMS program, group conversations, and client job-reporting app. General website browsing practices remain covered by the existing website privacy information above.
Information we collect
For work communications, we collect worker names, mobile numbers, client assignments, job dates, message contents, sender information, and message timestamps. Reports may include PO numbers, container numbers, box quantities, and work status. We retain signed consent forms and enrollment or withdrawal records. Worker profiles may also contain a photo supplied for identification.
How we use information
We use this information to identify the worker who sent a report, associate the report with the worker's active client assignment, coordinate work, maintain job records, confirm enrollment, respond to questions, and honor consent choices. Message frequency varies by assigned jobs and work activity. Message and data rates may apply.
Mobile information and marketing
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile information, SMS opt-in data, or consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Consent to this program is not transferred to another business or used to enroll you in another messaging program.
Operational sharing
Authorized company personnel can access records needed for their work. Messaging providers such as Twilio, mobile carriers, and approved hosting providers process the information necessary to deliver messages and operate or store reports. This processing supports the requested work service and is not permission to use your mobile information or consent for marketing. We may disclose information when legally required.
Group conversation visibility
Group MMS participants can see one another's phone numbers and messages. Management and other recipients may retain copies on their own phones. Only share job information appropriate for every participant in that group. Withdrawing consent does not remove message copies already received on another person's phone.
Consent and your choices
Workers choose whether to opt in using a separate Worker Text Messaging Consent form with an optional, initially unchecked consent box. Workers who choose SMS/MMS sign and return the form privately to management. Management retains consent privately and immediately sends a manual SMS enrollment confirmation before adding the worker to a work-text group. SMS/MMS consent is not required for employment, job assignments, or purchasing services. Workers who decline or withdraw consent receive work coordination by phone calls or in person. Reply STOP or contact management to stop future company messages. Reply HELP or use the contact details below for assistance.
Retention and protection
We keep messaging, job, and consent records for as long as needed for work operations, consent verification, recordkeeping, and applicable legal obligations. Access to company operational records is restricted to authorized users. Signed worker forms are kept privately and are not published as registration proof. No transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Requests and changes
Contact management to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your company messaging information. Some records may need to be retained for operational or legal reasons. We may update this policy and will display the updated date on this page. Material changes to the messaging purpose require appropriate notice and consent.
